Hold That Smile (1941)

Like the previous Show, ‘Hold That Smile’ was also ‘A musical revue in 20 scenes’.

It was directed by A. M. Shinnie.

A.M. Shinnie was a radio actor, and had appeared in a large number of radio plays with BBC Aberdeen since the mid-20s. (including one notable example in 1925 called ‘If Our Scots Comedians Had Written Macbeth’, in which he played the title role – parallels to a much later Student Show which featured Hamlet in Doric…)
